Doctors

Dr Steven Charkin (m)
MB BS 1983 Dr Charkin was born in 1960 and qualified from The Middlesex Hospital Medical School in 1983. He is a partner at the practice and sees patients on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Dr Dennis Abadi (m)
BSc 1985 MBBS 1988 DRCOG 1991

Dr Abadi was born in 1963 and qualified from The Middlesex Hospital Medical School in 1988.
He is a partner at the practice and sees patients Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
Dr Abadi also works as Chair of the Professional Executive Committee (PEC) at the Primary Care Trust (PCT) on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
His medical interests include obstetrics, minor surgery and diabetes.
Dr Abadi also runs the Minor Surgery Clinic at the practice.

Dr Julia Miller (f)
BSc 1988 MBBS 1991 DFFP Dr Miller was born in 1965 and qualified from St Mary's Hospital Medical School in 1991. She is a partner in the practice and sees patients Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Her medical interests are obstetrics, gynaecology and paediatrics.

Dr Rhian Jones (f)
MBBS 1995 MRCGP 2000 DRCOG 1998 DCH 1999 DFFP 1998

Dr Jones was born in 1972 and qualified from UCL Medical School in 1995.
She is a partner at the practice and sees patients on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
Her medical interests are obstetrics, gynaecology and paediatrics.

Dr Jasmin Pawa (f)
MBBS 2000 MRCGP 2004 DRCOG 2001 DFFP 2004

Dr Pawa was born in 1977 and qualified from St Bartholomews and The Royal Medical School in 2000.
Partner at the practice and sees patients Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Her medical interests include womens health.

Dr Tina Sharma (f)

Dr Sharma graduated from Medical School at Manchester University in 1997. Her other qualifications include MRCGP (membership of the Royal College of GP’s) DRCOG & DFFP (Diplomas on Obstetrics & Gynaecology) .

She works at the practice Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Our practice nursing team provides a comprehensive service, including blood pressure monitoring, pregnancy testing, smoking cessation support, dietary and lifestyle advice, treatment of minor injuries, dressings, cervical smears and specialist clinics for long term conditions such as diabetes, heart disease and asthma. We also offer a warfarin monitoring and management service.

The reception manager looks after the day to day running of the reception and it's staff and is always available to discuss and concerns or ideas with patients.

Administration

The practice has a medical secretary and several receptionists. They are there to assist you in making appointments, requesting home visits and dealing with all general enquiries.
There will be times that are busier then others when it may take a little longer to deal with your enquiry.
At these times we ask you to remain patient.

Community Nurses

District Nurses provide specialised nursing care and other domiciliary assessments including incontinence, dressings and general nursing advice to housebound patients.

Health Visitors

Health Visitors have wide and varied skills and are qualified in health education, screening and counselling in pregnancy, childcare and developmental checks

Counsellors

The services of an experienced counsellor are available. If you wish to see the counsellor please make an appointment with the doctor.

Ms Jane Ellis (f)
The practice employs a counsellor who is available to see patients at the surgery.
This service provides an oppitunity for people in distress to come and discuss their emotional difficulties, offering a secure relationship and a place to try and begin to understand life in a new way.
Counselling can help to make sense of behaviours and feelings which may seem overwhelming and frightening.
The counsellor can arrange for longer-term psychotherapy outside the practice if necessary.
Patients wishing to see the counsellor should see their GP in the first instance.
